OneGame – Rules & Regulations

Terms and Conditions for participation, registration, and use of the OneGame platform

These Rules & Regulations govern participation in OneGame beach handball tournaments and use of the OneGame platform by clubs, players, managers, media personnel, and visitors. By registering a club, applying for a tournament, applying for media accreditation, or otherwise using this platform, you agree to be bound by these terms. Failure to comply may result in disciplinary action, including suspension or removal from a tournament.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account, registering a club, submitting a player, applying for a media pass, or otherwise using the OneGame platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Rules & Regulations. The Organizing Committee may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

2. Club & Player Registration

Eligibility

• Clubs must submit accurate and current information during registration, including contact details and squad composition.
• Players must be registered under a single club per tournament and division.
• Clubs are responsible for the accuracy of all player details submitted, including date of birth, jersey numbers, and position.

Verification

• New club and media outlet accounts are reviewed by the Organizing Committee before being verified.
• The Organizing Committee may request supporting documents to confirm a club's or player's eligibility at any time.
• Registrations found to contain false or misleading information may be rejected or revoked, with or without prior notice.

Squad Changes

• Amendments to a submitted team sheet must be requested through the platform and are subject to Organizing Committee approval.
• Player sheets are locked once submitted and approved, unless an amendment request is granted.

3. Fees & Payments

• Registration and media accreditation fees must be paid in full at the time of application, using the payment method specified on the platform.
• Proof of payment (a bank transfer slip or receipt) must be uploaded as part of the application.
• All fees are non-refundable once a registration or application has been submitted, except where the tournament itself is cancelled by the Organizing Committee.
• A registration or application remains pending until the Organizing Committee verifies payment and approves the submission.

4. Team & Player Conduct

All players, managers, and club representatives are expected to:

• Conduct themselves with discipline and sportsmanship at all times, on and off the sand.
• Follow the instructions of match officials, referees, and tournament staff without delay.
• Treat opponents, officials, volunteers, spectators, and staff with respect.
• Refrain from abusive, threatening, or discriminatory language or behaviour.
• Comply with the official playing rules of beach handball as adopted by the Organizing Committee for the tournament.

Disputes regarding match results, officiating decisions, or player eligibility must be raised with the Organizing Committee through the proper channels and will not be entertained mid-match.

5. Media, Photography & Broadcast Rights

By participating in or attending a OneGame tournament, players, managers, club representatives, and spectators acknowledge that:

• Photography, video recording, and live broadcast may take place throughout the tournament venue.
• Images, footage, and recordings may be used by the Organizing Committee and its official media partners for promotional, editorial, and archival purposes, including on the OneGame website and social media channels.
• No fee or compensation is payable for the use of such images or footage in connection with tournament promotion or coverage.

Any request to opt out of promotional media use should be submitted to the Organizing Committee in writing before the start of the tournament.

6. Media Accreditation

Media personnel wishing to cover a OneGame tournament, whether representing a club, an independent outlet, or an organization, must apply for accreditation through the platform and hold a valid Media Pass at all times while inside the venue.

Accreditation is issued subject to the full Media Accreditation Rules & Regulations, which cover venue access levels, restricted areas, accreditation pass requirements, permitted equipment by pass type, and disciplinary provisions specific to media conduct.

Key points include:

• Accreditation is personal, non-transferable, and must be worn visibly at all times inside the venue.
• Access levels differ by pass type (Official Media, Club Media, Press, Photographer) and are detailed in full in the Media Accreditation Rules & Regulations.
• Accreditation fees follow the pricing published on the media pass application form and are non-refundable once submitted.
• The Organizing Committee may suspend or revoke a Media Pass at any time for non-compliance with the accreditation terms.

7. Liability & Assumption of Risk

• Beach handball is a physical sport and participation carries an inherent risk of injury. Players and clubs participate at their own risk.
• The Organizing Committee, event management, officials, volunteers, venue operators, and tournament partners are not liable for injury, loss, or damage to personal property occurring before, during, or after a tournament, except where required by applicable law.
• Clubs are responsible for ensuring their players are medically fit to participate.
• Spectators and media personnel are responsible for their own safety and belongings while at the venue.

8. Code of Conduct & Disciplinary Action

All registered clubs, players, managers, and accredited media personnel agree to uphold the standards of professionalism and integrity expected of the tournament.

Depending on the severity of a violation, the Organizing Committee may impose one or more of the following:

• A verbal or formal written warning.
• Suspension of a player, club, or media pass for one or more matches.
• Disqualification from the current tournament.
• Removal from the venue.
• Ineligibility to register for future OneGame tournaments.

The Organizing Committee reserves the right to take immediate action, without prior notice, where conduct is deemed unsafe, disruptive, or brings the tournament into disrepute.

9. Privacy & Data

• Information submitted during registration (including contact details, player data, and uploaded documents) is used solely for tournament administration, verification, and communication purposes.
• Club managers and media outlet contacts are responsible for keeping their account information accurate and up to date.
• The Organizing Committee will not share registration data with third parties except as required for tournament operations or by law.

10. Final Authority

The interpretation and enforcement of these Rules & Regulations rest solely with the Organizing Committee. The Organizing Committee reserves the right to amend these terms at any time to ensure the safe, fair, and professional operation of the tournament and the platform. All decisions regarding registration, eligibility, accreditation, conduct, and disciplinary matters are final and binding.
